Have You Ever Met Yourself??…

Have you ever truly met yourself?
Not the version the world sees. Not the roles you play, the titles you carry, or the expectations you live up to — but you. The quiet voice beneath it all.

Morning meditation welcoming the day

5 minute meditation anchoring your morning ritual…

Sent from my iPhone of us spend our lives moving forward without ever pausing to ask who we really are. We tend to everyone else’s needs, follow routines, and fill our days with doing — yet rarely allow ourselves the space to simply be. Somewhere along the way, we forget to listen inward.

Meeting yourself doesn’t happen overnight. It happens in moments of stillness — when the noise softens and the distractions fade. It happens when you sit with your thoughts, your breath, and your emotions without judgment. Sometimes it feels uncomfortable, even unfamiliar. But within that quiet is where clarity begins.

For me, this journey began early in life through meditation — a practice that taught me how to observe, not escape. Meditation became a mirror, gently reflecting back who I was beneath fear, sadness, joy, and love. Over time, I learned that self-discovery isn’t about fixing ourselves — it’s about understanding ourselves.

When you meet yourself, you begin to recognize patterns — how you respond, what nourishes you, and what quietly drains you. You start to notice how your surroundings, relationships, food, and habits either support your well-being or pull you away from balance. Awareness becomes the first step toward healing.

At The Simply Mindful Marketplace, mindful living begins with this question:
Have you ever met yourself?

From the spaces we create in our homes, to the meals we prepare, to the rituals we practice — everything is an opportunity to reconnect. When we design our lives with intention, we create room for honesty, presence, and self-compassion.

Meeting yourself is not a destination. It’s an ongoing relationship — one that deepens with time, patience, and love. And when you truly meet yourself, you realize something beautiful: you were never lost… you were simply waiting to be found.

With gratitude,
Barbara Martinez-Schneider
